| 2000 World Challenge GT Rookie of the Year Justin Jackson scored two top ten finishes at Road Atlanta. The Porsche 911 Cup driver had a career best finish of third at Portland and was sixth in the final championship standings. |

Eric Curran drove the No. 15 Chevrolet Corvette C5 in the final two rounds at Road Atlanta. Curran started tenth and moved to fourth at the checker. His efforts garnered him the Borla Performance Award for the drive of the race. Curran didn't fair as well the following day - he was the first car to retire. |

Peter Cunningham did everything he could in the final race to secure the championship. He started from the pole, led every lap and won the race. However, point's leader Michael Galati only needed a tenth or better to take the title. He finished second to Cunningham in the season finale and took the championship by 12-points. |
| Rookie Justin Marks dragged the bumper of his Porsche 911 Cup around the track for a couple of laps before it fell off. Marks fell just three points short of earning the 2001 GT Rookie of the Year title. Capturing the award was Bob Miller who also drove a Porsche 911 Cup. |

Jimmy Adams in the No. 77 Porsche leads Phil McClure in a Corvette through turn one. Behind them in the red BMW is 2000 series champion Jeff McMillin, 2000 Rookie of the Year Justin Jaskson in a Porsche and the No. 04 Corvette driven by Mark Dixon. Adams and McClure were awarded with the drive and pass of the race, respectively. |
