It was an eventful weekend for Johnny O'Connell and Ron Fellows in the No. 3 Corvette. A clutch problem during qualifying forced the team to start at the back. During the race Fellows got involved in an incident with one of the GT BMWs and damaged the rear of the car. Despite these problems the duo was able to win GTS. |
| Terry Borcheller was able to grab the pole in Franz Konrad's Saleen S7R. Konrad started the race but suffered through visibility problems caused by a foggy windshield. Ron Fellows was able to get by during his stint. Borcheller gained on the first place Corvette but was never close enough for a pass leaving the team with a second place finish. |

The No. 4 factory Chevrolet Corvette qualified right behind the pole sitting GTS Konrad Saleen. Kelly Collins and Andy Pilgrim shared the car. They finished third in GTS and ninth overall. |
